Peer Support Training
Interested in becoming a facilitator, but want to learn a bit more about peer support before you sign up?
The Hand-n-Hand Peer Support Training Workshop is a 2.5 hour program run by Hand-n-Hand and designed in collaboration with the Black Dog Institute. In this workshop, we provide training to healthcare workers, support workers and supporting staff in healthcare (admin/managers) to provide peer support to one another. These sessions are run our expert team, and are highly interactive with a focus on scenario-based practice. They also come with a digital booklet of takeaway info.

Our in-house training is offered free of charge, however we do encourage attendees to sign up as a Hand-n-Hand volunteer facilitator. Places tend to fill up fast, so we encourage you to sign up ASAP for your best chance at securing a spot.
